Deutzia x ‘Cherry Dream’ is a glorious new variety. It has matt green foliage which provides the perfect foil for its standout feature – the striking flowers, which are pale pink with a dark cherry pink eye. These are produced in loose panicles from April through May.
This variety will grow to a dense rounded shrub of 1.5 to 2m in height and spread in the garden. It can very easily be pruned after flowering to control the size. As with all deutzias, it is easy to look after, reliable and versatile making it a fantastic plant for gardeners of all skill levels. It is also a magnet for pollinators.
Grow in a mixed border or position as a feature shrub in any sunny or lightly shady spot.

Development History
This new deutzia variety has been bred by renowned legendary plantsman Maurice Foster at his renowned gardens in Kent, which are open to the public. Foster has conducted a lot of work with deutzias and is an authority on whether a variety is good or not!
Growing Guide
Planting
Plant in any moist soil in the garden in a sunny or lightly shaded position. Add plenty of organic matter to enrich the soil. Dig a hole that is as deep as the rootball, and approximately two to three times as wide. Place the plant in the hole, fill with a soil / organic matter mixture and water thoroughly.
Watering
Continue to water well until fully established.
Pruning
Prune back lightly to shape after flowering.
