A hardy, evergreen shrub with pinnate leaves composed of up to 40 pairs of small oblong leaflets. Large bright yellow claw-like flowers in short racemes are produced in late winter and early spring. Suitable for use in mixed borders, as a wall shrub or as a specimen.
